CakeCut support

Include the smallest useful description of what happened in CakeCut (formerly CloudCap). Keep customer media, caption text, passwords, and tokens out of the first message.

Install and sign in

Use the CakeCut version supplied for your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Sign in with email or Google, or Apple where offered; Apple sign-in is not offered in the Android app. If a provider window is cancelled, return to the same login form and try again.

Import, edit, and export

Choose a video through the system picker, wait for captions to prepare, review the timing and style, and export from the editor. Save or share the resulting file when the export finishes; keep the app open if the operating system pauses background work.

Purchases and restore

Digital purchases in the mobile apps use Apple or Google billing. Open Account to see the localized store price, restore a purchase after reinstall, and use the provider's subscription-management page for cancellation. Contact support with the store and order date, never with a receipt token.

Refunds and deletion

Request a store refund through Apple or Google for a store transaction, or contact CakeCut about a web transaction. To remove your account and CakeCut data, use the in-app Account deletion action or the public instructions at /account-deletion.

Before you write

Note the page you were using, the approximate time, your browser and operating system, and the last action that worked. For an export problem, say whether the failure happened before rendering, during rendering, or while saving the file.

Browser-local projects

Use the same browser profile and device that created the project. Avoid clearing site storage while diagnosing missing local media.
